This is Parker from tele-net America!
First off, I think there are a number of people who don’t know me so I’ll take the liberty to introduce myself.
I am from America, but I have lived in Japan about four times for a total of about five years. Most recently I moved to Japan last year in November from Southern California.
Today, I’d like to share a bit more about tele-net America in general.
To start, do you know where tele-net America is located? Our offices are in California, close to Los Angeles, in a city called Irvine. Irvine is a very nice, stylish, and hip place that is close both close to the ocean and Disneyland so it’s a very popular destination.
Regarding the company itself, tele-net America currently has four employees. Mr. Takahashi, who many of you know as the CEO of tele-net Japan, is also the CEO of tele-net America. Additionally, we also have a sales team that is made up of myself, Shinji Fukuoka, and Sean Chung. Of course, Shinji and Sean live in the US, with Shinji in California and Sean in Utah. Both of them have lived in Japan before and can also speak Japanese!
Because all of the sales team has experience in Japan, we work to show the principle of Omotenashi, which is the heart of tele-net, to all of the prospective and current clients that we have.
Shinji has a background in marketing and design, so he oversees the design of our website and manages our social media accounts. In America, people like to know the story of a company, so Shinji designed the website in way that portrays the great, 28 year history of tele-net.
Sean has strong previous work experience in sales and has been working in sales related to Japan for the past 8 or so years. As he teaches and shows companies what Omotenashi is, he works to help companies understand that they can experience Japanese quality of service if outsource with tele-net.
Of course, as English is spoken in America, a lot of our clients approach us about the services we provide in English. Therefore, we work closely with and rely heavily on Cebu tele-net and do what we can to create a lot of synergies between our two offices.
Currently, tele-net America is providing customer support for companies from a variety of industries. For example, we are working with companies from Fintech, Counseling, Supplement, and even law offices. While most of these clients utilize us for customer support, we also provide some virtual assistance and data entry services.
Due the impact that COVID-19 has had on the economy in America, companies are looking for ways to improve efficiencies. Outsourcing is one of those ways and so the tele-net America team is committed to doing all we can to make the best of this opportunity that has presented itself.
